3 Years Later

Peyton turned 3 on March 4. I can't believe that my little boy is 3! I feel like we were just taking him home from the hospital! It has been so much fun over the last 3 years watching him grow and develop into his own little person. There is not a day that goes by that I don't laugh at that kid. He is all there & doesn't miss a beat!

We celebrated his birthday twice this year! Once with Bill's family a couple weeks early because Christin & Eden were in town. And then on his actual birthday with my family. Peyton LOVED every second of opening his gifts ( I think he opened everything in record time).

Grand Haven

Yesterday afternoon Bill decided he was sick of sitting at home so, we decided to head out to Grand Haven for the evening. We quickly got everything packed up and off we went! First we headed to Old Boys' Brew House to grab something to eat. It was a hot night, but we still sat outside and enjoyed the warmth!

After dinner we headed to downtown Grand Haven to take a walk on the pier. Well, we actually never made it to the pier, but we did go down by the water. Peyton was having so much fun playing in the sand. I think he would have played all night if we would have let him, but we had to head home and bathe the kid who had sand EVERYWHERE! It was a lot of fun just hanging out as a family!

Weekend at the Races!

Well, last weekend was filled with lots of "boy" activities! We started off the weekend by heading over to Caledonia's Western Week to check out the truck pulls on Friday night. Peyton loves to watch truck/tractor pulls on youtube so, I figured he would be on cloud nine. Let's just say that was quite the experience........ Bill and I decided we did not fit in with that crowd! FYI if you ever attend a truck pull the majority of the people will probably not be wearing flip flops.

On Saturday morning our friend Mike was Mountain Bike Racing in the Michigan State Games so, we headed out their to cheer him on to VICTORY! Peyton had fun watching all the bikers but what he really enjoyed doing was cashing Adalynn around! He ABSOLUTELY ADORES Adalynn.

After a quick nap in the afternoon off we went to the Berlin Raceway in Marne for Bill's work outing. I wasn't sure how Peyton was going to handle the noise but it didn't phase the kid. He thought it was great! He would get soooooo excited when the cars would go by. I think he could have spent all night there just watching the race ohhhhhh and playing in the dirt!

Waiting for another race to start!
